under accessories I saw that additional tachometer (rev. counter) is possible. Are there any pics of this accesory available?

Yes. It has the same size and additional information in the lower digital window:

I would love to see if this mounts on the bike.
- does it replace the speedo?
- does it sit beside, way off centre
- does the speedo mount shift and both mount side by side by centred

Hurry up BMW and give us details!!!

Who knows what this lower digital window is for?

I wondered the same so asked someone in Motorrad's communications department. Here's what he said the LCDs would show:

Quote:
The displays show following functions:
gear indicator
service information
engine temperature
date and time
daily trip (1 and 2)
average speed
average consumption / actual consumption
voltage
riding time
riding mileage after fuel warning light has turned on
heated grips "on"
Assume the gear indicator would appear in the tachometer LCD, as a large number, at far right, but have not seen photos of both displays turned on.

I wonder how do you control two displays since currently you can handle on with one button on handlebar?!
Oh yeah, I forgot. I have received my Scrambler.

Garage
I have been out on mine for 300 km, dont feel I need an extra display. Perhaps one needs it when driving on dull roads...
